On Monday evening, January 13th, 7:00 PM at Book People in Austin, author Gretchen Rubin, who wrote The Happiness Project: Why I Spent a Year Trying to Sing in the Morning, Clean My Closets, Fight Right, Read Aristotle, and Generally Have More Fun, will be speaking and signing. She has a new paperback edition of her newest book that will be available on December 31st: Happier at Home: Kiss More, Jump More, Abandon Self-Control, and My Other Experiments in Everyday Life. These are feel-good books with good ideas, lots of which happiness seekers might have already heard.
Let's get together on an individual basis to travel to Book People. This can be done via email. Let's see who wants to go and who can drive a few people, and maybe meet at the BN parking lot or Sprouts, or maybe just go with book club friends from your neighborhood.
