Round Rock New Neighbors is a social organization of women welcoming women in the Round Rock area since 1978. Both "new" and "old" neighbors are welcome. LOCAL LITERARY EVENT: Lawrence Wright, author of Mr. Texas, our August book, will be speaking at the Georgetown Public Library November 14th. Tickets will be $17.00 each.

Book discussions scheduled for the RR Reads "also rans"

Isaac's Storm received the most votes from Round Rock Reads voters. Events related to it will be in January.

The RR Library will host book discussions of the "also rans" at 2 pm AND 7 pm as follows - all are on Tuesdays:

Oct 6: Beautiful Things That Heaven Bears

Nov 3: Not for Sale

Feb. 2: Articles of War

Mar. 2: Shoeless Joe (timing coincides with upcoming baseball season)
