Ernst Udet

Here's a photo of the pilot, Ernst Udet. I dare say more than one impressionable young person would be attracted!

He died a suicide in 1941, disillusioned by the Nazi party. Two books mentioned at the meeting were: The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, by William Shirer, and Inside the Third Reich, by Albert Speer. Both are worth reading.
