Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister Reminds Us of Cinderella

Our meeting Monday was well-attended. Everyone seemed to have enjoyed the book, Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, by Gregory Maguire. Once again, we shared insights and questions, this time about intended meanings, who did what to whom, universal themes, the history of the Cinderella story, and the motives of the characters.
